We’ve Learned Some Hard Lessons with Nancy Olson

Welcome back! On today’s Courage Permission Slip episode, Kea’s chatting with Nancy Olson. Nancy is a consultant based in Northern California focused on leadership development, cross-sector collaboration, and nonprofit success. She also leads professional development programming at Cal Poly Humboldt. Nancy has worked at local, state, national, and international levels, and feels very fortunate to have had a broad variety of opportunities to learn and grow, and - most important - try to support others in their personal journeys. Nancy is a passion-driven person, and her top criteria for considering any professional or personal opportunity is, "Does this feel right for me?"

In this conversation, Nancy talked about:

  • The cost of being inauthentic

  • What caused her to ask herself, “What did I do?”

  • The fear of running out of time

  • Why in every circumstance—good or difficult—you do have choices

…and much more!
