The Story You’re Telling Yourself is Way Worse with Lori Fusaro

Welcome back to Courage Permission Slip! On today’s episode, I’m chatting with Lori Fusaro. Lori is an award-winning photographer, and as a dedicated advocate for homeless animals, she's been using her photographic skills to help them for more than a decade. Her book, national best-selling book, My Old Dog highlights amazing senior dogs to inspire more people to adopt dogs in their golden years. Lori is also the staff photographer for Best Friends Animal Society and has many private and corporate clients including Jackson Galaxy, Pet Food Express, Petco Foundation and California Bountiful.

In this conversation, we discussed:

  • How Lori forged ahead even though her career path didn’t feel like a viable option

  • Choices she initially thought were selfish actually ended up being courageous

  • Her biggest failure that became one of her biggest successes

  • How being of service helped her get over a layoff

  • What you have be more fearful of instead of the fear of trying

…and much more!
